Linda Julian

How long have you been with MMQCI and how did you first learn about our company?
2 ½ years.  We were moving south from Bucksport to be closer to our family so I was searching for a job.  When I found the position on Indeed, it sounded just like what I was looking for. As soon as we found a place to live, I applied for the position.

What are your primary responsibilities?
Reconcile orders to be shipped against our daily shipping report. Pull inventory, verify product matches customer order and package our product for shipping both domestically and internationally. Verify inventory weekly to ensure no errors are made during shipping. Maintain and replenish inventory of all shipping supplies. Once all shipping duties are complete, we then take care of receiving all incoming product for the company.

Describe MMQCI in three words:
Caring, Generous and Professional

What do you like best about MMQCI?
Everyone is so kind and pleasant to work with, from the owner all the way down the line. Never have I worked with so many people that care about each other and about how well we perform our tasks. Plus, I am able to take part in helping people In the background.

How would you describe your team?
Awesome!! We all care, not only about what we do but, how we do it. Everyone is willing to help each other and are cross trained to assist in other areas when needed.

What has your experience been with our company culture?
Wonderful! My experience here is that everyone seems to share the same values of being kind and helpful and generous and caring.

What do you like to do in your free time?
Read, be outside in the woods and near water and be with my growing family. We are expecting our 8th grandchild in August!

Where is your happy place in Maine?
Anywhere in the woods and in or at water.

What’s one thing that’s on your “Bucket List”?
To travel to all the US states I have not yet visited.

What piece of advice would you give to your younger self?
Nothing, only because it would change every part of my life and I would not be here today.

What do you enjoy most about working here?
The kindness of the people and the willingness to be open to suggestions and make changes if it will improve our procedures and processes.

Where were you born and raised?
I was born in Wellfleet, Massachusetts and raised in Woonsocket, RI. The only new England state I have not lived in is New Hampshire.

What’s the last song you listened to?
Honey in the Rock sung by Brooke Ligertwood

What, if anything, are you currently binge-watching? Or reading?
I’m in a group reading “Unforgettable Women of the Gospels” and also reading “The Word is Passed” about the reckoning with history of slavery across America.

What is something about you that most people don’t know?
Years ago, I spent 3 wonderful months driving across the USA and back, camping and hiking wherever I felt like stopping. It was a soul-searching journey that helped ground me and prepare me for the future.

What best advice can you give someone who might be interested in joining us here at MMQCI?
If you care about what you do and how you do it and you care about people and like to work hard, MMQCI just might be the place for you.
